  1. Rules for the protection of personal data

1.1 Taking into account the nature, scope, context and purposes of processing and the risk of violating the rights or freedoms of individuals, the Controller makes special care that all personal data are processed in accordance with the purpose for which they were collected and used in accordance with the scope of permits (consents) and areas processing allowed by law.

1.2 The Controller of personal data is Fornit Sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Jaworzno, on ul. Poległych 7, Tax ID No: 6321921451.

1.3 All personal data transferred or transmitted, are processed in a manner consistent with the requirements of law, in particular in accordance with the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services (Journal of Laws No 144 item 1204), the Telecommunication Law (Journal of Laws of 2004 No 171 item 1800), including according to the scope of the customer’s consent and the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/41/EC (hereinafter: GDPR).

  1. Security and information storage procedures

2.1 The Controller ensures the security of personal data through appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent unlawful data processing and their accidental loss, destruction and damage.

2.2. The Controller shall ensure that the personal data collected are:

  • Correct, accurate, current and processed in a lawful manner,
  • Processed in compliance with the rights of the data subjects, including the right to reserve access;
  • Obtained only for specific purposes and not further processed in a manner inconsistent with these purposes;
  • Adequate and to the extent necessary to achieve the goal, in accordance with the principle of personal data minimisation;
  • Stored safely and not longer than necessary;
  • Not transferred without adequate protection to countries outside the European Economic Area.
  1. The purposes and period of use of personal data:

3.1 Personal data will be collected by the Controller for the purpose and scope necessary to:

  1. a) return communication to questions generated by forms;
  2. b) submit offers in response to questions generated by the forms;
  3. c) responding to submitted complaints by forms;
  4. d) research on buyers’ satisfaction with the use of completed forms;
  5. e) marketing own products or data administrator services;

3.2. Communication with individual users will be limited to the implementation of selected goals, and after this period for purposes and for the period required by law or to secure any claims.

3.3. Personal data for the purpose indicated in point 3.1. a), b), c), d) are processed pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 letter b) GDPR, i.e. to perform the contract for the provision of electronic services, while for the purpose indicated in point 3.1 e) pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 letter a) and f) GDPR. The legitimate interest of the Controller is direct marketing of own products.

  1. Collection of data

4.1 Personal data in the form of name and surname, company name, place of residence or registered office, telephone number and email address are obtained through the forms available on the website www.fornit.pl.

4.2. Providing personal data is voluntary Failure to provide personal data in the form of an email address or telephone number may make it impossible to answer a given question in the form.

  1. Cookies

5.1 While using the resources of https://fornit.pl – information about users is collected via “cookies”, i.e. small files saved on the user’s computer, in which information about user devices is stored, for the purpose of proper functioning of the website https://fornit.pl. The user may at any time disable the option of accepting cookies in his browser using browser settings.

6.1 The Controller shall take into account the right of each person to request access to their personal data from the Controller and to rectify, delete and limit data processing and data transfer

6.2. Each user has the right to object and withdraw their consent to the processing of personal data they are subject to in order to marketing their own products or data administrator services. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the right of the Controller to process the data for the purpose described in the consent until the withdrawal.

6.3. The supervisory body for personal data in Poland is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection. You have the right to file a complaint in the event of your personal data being processed in violation of applicable law.
